We're looking towards Santiago from the summit of Bartolome. The winds were high here. While I steadied the camera tripod against the wind, I believe I pressed the forward legs continually deeper into the volcanic sand as the panorama progressed. Thus, the peak at the center and ridge to the right have been clipped.
Note: some scenes of the movie "Master and Commander" were shot in this area.
GPS position is approximate, but should be close. It's toward the left side of the fence very near the summit.
