View of the Carson River Valley, looking north from my roof. It includes Job's Peak (10k ft. elev) on the extreme left, the Pinenuts Mtns. (9k+ elev) in the distance, the valley of the West Fork of the Carson River as it flows from California into Nevada, and a self portrait in the extreme lower right corner. My house is situated on a mesa at 5k ft. elev. Taken at 10am as a new snow storm is gathering, expected tonight or tomorrow. Carson City, NV, is nested in the distant hills 20 miles to the north. This is my third gigapan attempt and the first to upload.
