    When yoy look at the shape of this mound it looks as if it has been built by something and the shadowed area looks as if a collapses section has fallen away and is left in a heap behind.

    I hate to say this but are these forms not similar to a fossil bone bed only in this case of some ancient possibly aquatic mega fauna that perished in a flood here millions of years ago?
