Description

I can now print Gigapans for all UK based members. I have been printing my own Gigapans since I joined (Max height 61cms and as wide as that produces) and have recently upgraded my computer systems to handle the large PSB files I am producing.
Ink = Epson Ultra Chrome. Media = Silk 190gsm digital photo quality paper (Light Fastness: Up to 75 years) at 720dpi. File formats accepted = JPEG-TIFF-PSD-PSB or can render from your original files.
Please contact me for more info and pricing.
Example: This image at .61 x 6.14 metres would cost £179.78 + P&P. I am giving a 20% discount for any images over 3 metres in width. There are no additional costs for setup or adjustments.

I arrived in Brighton quite early (7am) but the cloud hadn’t cleared and it was quite windy so I drove around looking for new locations to take Gigapans from and ended up in Newhaven just below the Old Fort. After an hour or so the sky cleared up and although there was a strong breeze I decided to take this panorama before it got too hot.
As it was finishing the Dieppe ferry came into the port so I took a 12 shot image of it. This was then layered over the first panorama in Photoshop to produce this final image.
It took me a lot longer than expected as although both sets of images were taken from the same position, Kolor Autopano rendered them slightly out of sync so it took some time to make precise adjustments (Jiggery Pokery) so they fit together properly. Never the less I’m quite happy with the end result apart from the small bit missing on the bottom left corner where I cloned the grass. I’ve sampled and printed and it’s OK – weird. A Kolor Autopano - PSB problem when uploaded maybe?
