Description

Built in 1835, this house has had many lives - farmhouse, home of an ironmaster, orphanage. Most recently, it has been a tea room and bed and breakfast. Soon it may be torn down to make way for another bank/drug store/superstore. Unless someone can find a good way to preserve it...

What a beautiful old building, and how sad that it may be torn down. I really hope that it survived in the end?? There was a place kind of similar to this in my town that was revamped as a horrible linoleum-floored plastic-tabled greasy-takeaway-food place... such a shame.
