Description

Tabin Wildlife Reserve is an area in eastern Sabah, (Borneo) Malaysia with a good diversity of flora and fauna. Best known for its pygmy elephants, it is also excellent for birds and other mammals. Gibbons, Orangutang, Civets, Leopard cat, otter, macaques, giant flying squirrels, crested serpent eagle, Borneo Falconet...
The reserve has observation platforms set up in a few places, this one, using a tree as its base, is in secondary jungle (selectively logged 25-30 years previously) about a 20-30 minute drive from the main site.
