Description

Salt Lake City, Utah gets filled every winter with smog each Winter season caused by an inversion, where a layer of warmer air will trap and hold down the cold air in the valley, trapping any pollution from escaping.

From up high, you can see this layer. This is the smog being illuminated on a clear night by the city lights.

I don't know if I should be calling this cool since it's smog, but it's cool. Thank you for sharing.
