Jeremy Rogers, Luc Reynders, Daragh Horgan, Eric Larsen and Doug Oppenheim ski out of the fog early in the morning of January 4, 2009 South Pole time, which is New Zealand time.
These five athlete/adventurers started their journey at the Ronne ice shelf on the Argentina/Chile side of the continent. From there they skied across 950 kilometers of Antarctica's white and blue landscape, taking 41 days to complete their journey.
Congratulations gentlemen, and welcome to the South Pole!
The 50 images of this panorama were photographed with a Nikon D 80 and stitched with Autpopano Pro.
