I hadn't intended to make these images public because they are only test shots, but a couple of friends said they were worth making public. Top picture taken just after sunrise, bottom picture taken at sunset the previous day.
Both are hand-held 10x1. For me the real incentive to shoot here is the view that makes up the left half of the shots. One can see for at least 6 miles down the valley to Box. I have been wanting to take a big GP of the valley ever since I discovered this view point only a few hundred yards (most of them vertical) from where I have been living for 10 years. I discovered it 10 days ago :-) But the weather has been poor and this was the first time I managed to trudge up the hill through the freezing wet fields and actually come home with something interesting.
There are many things that make this shot difficult. Not least the fact that I went into the field without the farmer's permission and he caught me and was not happy. Fortunately the encounter ended on good terms I think, but I also think a box of chocolates or something is order.

I have geocoded now, so perhaps that answers your question? Obviously the positioning in GE is tricky given that the pano is not a single view, but I know some people like to see panos geocoded simply so they can see those with a wide field-of-view from 'inisde'.

Are we looking towards the Cotswolds? Or towards the south into Bath?
