Polar Bears taking a dip in the Pacific Ocean to celebrate New Years Day 2009, Cabrillo Beach, San Pedro, California. A yearly event going back to 1936 according to John Olguin. This shot was taken from roof of Life Guard Station. Sun was to the South, left side of image, and fog was beginning to clear when photo was taken.
