The Deerfield River in early November. This spot is about a half mile downstream from where Pelham Brook enters from the east (far shore). 200-300 yards of floodplain exist to the west (behind the vantage point. Steep banks on the east shore. A railroad track runs approximately 30 vertical feet above the river on the east side, a road another 30 feet above that. This road was blasted out of the hillside; artificial cliffs can be seen above the road.
