Description

The Wilder Kaiser is a mountain ridge in western Austria, part of the Alps.

This version was taken from a higher location, i.e. the Treichlhof Jausenstation (Hausberg 5, Ellmau, elevation ).

Taken with a Pentax K-5, DA* 60-250 @ 88mm, f/8, 48 images with GigaPan EPIC Pro, from RAW images, developed with Lightroom 4, stitched with GigaPan Stitch software.

Postprocessed the stitched image again in LR, adjusting tone curve and increasing Clarity and Vibrance in order to deal with the paleness in the distance (I welcome your comments and suggestions about this as I'm quite new to fiddling with these parameters)
