This is a shot of the Mangroves and other trees which line the North Fork of the St. Lucie River in Martin County, Florida. The image is taken near where a new bridge is being built. I took the shot using a Canon 400mm lens with the tripod for the Gigapan sitting on a wood pier at the end of a walkway. While the pier seemed very sturdy, the long lens picks up even the slightest vibration. On the other hand I met a nice young man who was using the pier to fish. He wasn't happy that the catfish were eating his bait.
