Description

The 683 acre Quarry Park and Nature Preserve (Stearns County, MN), is a location that numerous mining companies operated granite quarries from the early to middle 20th century. In some areas, the 1,770-million-year-old granite was intruded by 1,100 million-year-old diabase dikes.
