Well, I got out my big gun and shot these at about 200mm. Due to a very heavy draft created by a 18-wheeler wiping past me, I had to edit this down a bit. The whole right side was really messed up.

fetching snapshots...

Unfortunately, I had a tractor-trailor wipe past on the road and created one heck of a draft which shook me and the camera thus changing the focal length of the zoom lens I was using. I'm still working on the post shoot work flow trying to get the image exposures balanced. I also need a good pan/tilt head for my heavy tripod. My backpack tripod has one but if I extent the center post to hight it becomes unsteady with my 35mm DSLR and telephoto lens. Of course I should look into a panohead, but isuspect that they cost more than I can afford on my retirement check.
