500 images taken with a Pentax K-r, Tamron 300mm F4-5.6 AF Di LD lens and Epic 100 robotic pano head on Friday, 26th July 2013, from a hill called El Calvario. Stitched with GigaPan Stitch version 2.1.0161. Jpeg images straight from the camera, nothing post-processed. My 1000th publicly-viewable gigapan; at the time I posted it was also the largest I had stitched, but recently I successfully stitched a 1600-image pano of Cusco: gigapan.com/gigapans/143551

Yes, Alfred has made an achievement and a half! You might say, gigapanography is one field where size does matter!

If you're talking average size, Alfred has over 150 gigapans with an average size of over 6Gpix *splutter*

Thanks Kilgore! I am happy that my 1000th is also my biggest, in terms of gigapixels. But I have a long way to go to catch up with gigapanners like yourself, Rich Gibson, and Ron Schott, in terms of number of gigapans vrs average size.
