At about 6250 feet elevation, this is the highest cemetery in Alberta, Canada and the British Commonwealth. It lies in the mountains south of Cadomin, Alberta not far from the boundary with Jasper National Park.
It contains the graves of the many coal miners and their families, some infants who died on the day they were born.
Many of the miners came from the British Isles and others from Italy as seen by the markers.
