The Gigapanographer Currently Known as "Kilgore661" (December 06, 2008, 09:55AM )
Excellent culture-sharing shot Marc. One aspect of my culture that will be difficult to share gigapanographically is that no-one would ever get permission to take a photo of school children (and certainly not with names and location) in the UK. Perhaps I'll take one of a school with a playground apart from the childrens' Christmas hats :-) A question: did you use a gp unit for this photo? If so, why are the buildings to the left of the school sloping from top left to bottom right? Utrecht is not in an earthquake zone iirc.

I can't help but to compare these three panoramas taken by Marc of Dutch children, their parents and teachers all gathered together for the Goede Sint celebration to that of the three panoramas taken by kilgore661 of King Bladud's Pigs in Bath, England: www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id= 11099.In this regard, all six of these panoramas are not a question of camera or techniques or anything else except that of six photographic masterpieces showing a range of human emotion, especially in Marc's portrayal of the Dutch school kids all gathered in their groups with their costumes or lack of costumes, but all waiting for the Goede Sinterklaas.
