Mount Athabasca dominates the area around Sunwapta Pass, the boundary between Jasper and Banff National parks. The meltwater stream flows from the cirque glacier below the peak. On Parker's Ridge there's a row of animal tracks (possibly mountain goat or caribou) leading over the ridge. Nestled in the trees is a hostel.
