The second in a series. This was done with the E30 using the Vivitar Series One 600mm f8 solid catadioptric mirror lens, a reilc from the late 1970s that is probably the bet mirror lens out there bar none.
The Schloss is in a relatively good state of repair, despite the way it looks, but certainly needs a rather good restoration. It is closed to the public. The castle or chateau dates in part back to the 15th century and was part of the city fortifications back in the day before being turned into a moated fortification. It was later rebuilt several times before reaching its current style in the 18tth century. After the decline of the Prugg lineage, it was acquired by the Harrack lineage and has remained in private hands since. The surrounding park is probably the finest example of a English garden in middle Europe.
Technical data: Olympus E30 with OwnUser battery pack, Vivitar Series ONe 600mm f8 solid catadioptric lens,, expsoure 1/500th f8, 999 images. Gigapann Pro, Manfrotto 028b tripod, Bogen 3038 ball head.
