This is a gigapan of Schloss Prugg in the Harrack Park in Bruck an der Leitha, in Lower Austria (Niederoesterreich=, Austria. The castle or chateau dates in part back to the 15th century and was part of the city fortifications back in the day before being turned into a moated fortification. It was later rebuilt several times before reaching its current style in the 18tth century. After the decline of the Prugg lineage, it was acquired by the Harrack lineage and has remained in private hands since. The surrounding park is probably the finest example of a English garden in middle Europe.
