I am part of a group of Carnegie Mellon Architecture Students and we were just in Iceland and took a gigapan to Thingvellir on May 26, you can check out the images as well! It is a small world :)

Hi Alan. Ben here - 1/2 of the other Iceland gigapan duo. Nice to see the Thingvellir photo after being there at the same time! You can check out the photos Ian and I took on my profile page. And check back because I'm borrowing the device for the next couple of months and plan on going a bit crazy here in the middle of the dark winter.

Hahahahaha.... I likely lost; I am miffed I seem to have forgotten to lock in my exposure. They were not packing theirs, so there was no violence.

If I ever ran into someone else packing a GigaPan, there would have to be an immediate duel. If not to the death, then at least to see whom can wield it to the best photographic effect.
