East Point WWII gun emplacement and buildings viewed from the East Point Military Museum. This is one of two large coastal gun turrets at East Point Reserve.
These two 15 inch guns were installed during WWII and were for the defence of the entrance to Darwin Harbour. The guns were sold as scrap to the Japanese in the 1960s.
