Description

It seems a shame to go to Paris for the first time and not to get to go up the Eiffel tower, but we weren't able to get advance tickets despite trying hard. On the other hand, given that it was 0° C at ground level, I imagine the people who did go up came back down with frostbite. So in fact we had a lucky escape!

Robust, even. (Why is there no edit button? Did somebody forget?! Or did the designers think we wouldn't need it because everyone talks twitterspeak now? #Annoyed)

Sorry, I can't remember. That's certainly the sort of problem stitchers have and AP is no exception. Did you use AP in "gigapan import" mode? I often find this is useless and I get a better stitch not using it (OK, might have to move empty sky images by hand.) Another suggestion is to use Gigapan Stitch - there is a new version out. I don't use it often because it doesn't support HDR and you can't move the centre in a 360, but it's pretty robost.

Hi, I just came back from Paris having tried a similar gigapan of eiffel tower. I had some trouble stitching it. It seemed that autopano giga got confused by all the similar structural repetition. Did you have similar issues?

I believe it was designed to be temporary.
