- Description

The Burrard Seaplane terminal is something of a Vancouver Icon. It is used by a number of local carrier services which offer flights to the west coast and gulf islands. During the construction of the Vancouver Convention centre, the terminal was moved to a temporary location for several years. After a long time and lot of negotiations between the seaplane owners and the terminal owners, agreement was reached on a new location and facilities.
This image provides and updated view of the progress towards relocating the terminal to the new site which stretches out into the Inlet in front of the Vancouver Convention center.
