Rain and snow are falling on the Estrella Mountain Park off in the distance. The Gila River Indian Community is off to the left. In the foreground is the "South Mountain 620," a parcel of AZ State Trust Land, part of which was purchased by the city of Phoenix in 2009 for future park and recreation development. The South Mountain 620 is the last remaining land that is to be developed as part of the Phoenix village of Ahwatukee Foothills, commonly known as the worlds longest cul-de-sac. ;-)
