Canon Powershot SX 100 IS


I was lucky enough to be shooting a gigapan of this section of the glacier when an enormous piece of ice broke off. Some of this shows up in the panorama, but most of the action does not appear. The bowl at the bottom of the image was filled to overflowing when all the ice was done falling. I'll see if anyone else on the trip got photos of the event and post a link if I can.

Note: the hazy column about 1/4 of the way from the right edge is composed of ice fragments and water droplets thrown up by the falling ice.
