Description

The Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts is one of the top performing arts centers in the world. Inaugurated in September 2011, its hosted shows ranging from Alvin Ailey to Willy Nelson. Located at 16th and Broadway, the curvaceous structure adds modern lines to the Kansas City skyline. I used a fairly open aperture for this Gigapan and shot through the prairie grass on the east side of the building for a view not typically seen in photographs.
This 144 image composite is 403 million pixels and if printed at 300dpi, would be 40' wide and 13.5' tall.
