Of all the mosaics I have created, I like this one the best for some reason. It must be that MAHLI camera. :)
The mosaic in the middle is a more close-up shot of the top mosaic (same rock, obviously).
As for the 5 images on the bottom. I am not a Geologist, but I would guess they are mineral deposits.
Just to note, the middle image is zoomed down into the micrometers per pixel, which is really awesome.
Entire image (combined) is sharpened just enough to bring out more detail.
