This GP is taken from the south inner wall/walkway around the central area of the temple. Coordinating the number of people who wanted to walk by was fun, and alas, I managed to not get a couple of people through in time - which has yielded 2 of the 3 missing images. The bottom left was due to my pausing the panorama and hitting the wrong button while trying to resume :-( so, I put in a substitute, and the new stitching SW leaves things blank...
Banteay Srey (one of many spellings) is part of the Angkor World Heritage Area whc.unesco.org/en/list/668
- This particular temple complex is about 26km away from the main Angkor site, and well worth going to. Many other people think so, therefore, getting there as early as possible would be a good thing! This temple was closed for a long time, until they were able to do some good reconstruction work. Some of the statuary was copied with the originals in the museum in Siem Reap.
