Banteay Srey - from just inside the outer wall
This GP is taken from the eastern outer wall surrounding the inner area of the temple.
Banteay Srey (one of many spellings) is part of the Angkor World Heritage Area whc.unesco.org/en/list/668
This particular temple complex is about 26km away from the main Angkor site, and well worth going to. Many other people think so, therefore, getting there as early as possible would be a good thing! This temple was closed for a long time, until they were able to do some good reconstruction work. Some of the statuary was copied with the originals in the museum in Siem Reap.
