Books that I don't read any more or have never read and probably never will. Talking of books I will never read, here's some festive fun for you: write down the age you think you may die, subtract your current age and multiply the result by the number of books you read each year. The result is the number of books you will read before you are dead. That's an interesting number isn't it?

12 columns by 16 rows. Each image required between 2 and 25 focus brackets, and each column took about 90 minutes to shoot.

Hi Kilgore I just zoomed over your book collection... I have only read 4 of them (5 if you count the Oxford Dictionary) But then again I went to school in Australia and my tastes are focused on a completely different genre: www.madaru.net/latin.html  BTW David, there is a copy of Catcher in The Rye, in this gigapan, here: gigapan.com/gigapans/120810/snapsho ts/438930

An interesting idea. Does it also apply to all the people who have made videos that show copyrighted images and have been posted on You Tube?

You know, technically, according to Mr Donovan, this is copyright infringement. You have no right to arrange all these book covers into a gallery like you have done, this is a republication and you have not asked or obtained permission from all the authors to do this! Shame on you.

I certainly own a copy of Catcher in the Rye but I can't recall if I have read it (in the last 30 years anyway). If it is not in the book case then it is probably in the transitional holding area. This is the place where I keep books that I have selected for reading, transferred to the tottering pile by the side of my bed, but then not actually read for so long that the pile has fallen over and deposited under the bed. I'm sure there are several strata of such books by now.,

I did not see a copy of Catcher in the Rye in this GigaPan of yours ... maybe it is by the side of your bed? My copy date from 1963. I wish that we could attach photos in GigaPan comments ... if we could, I would be happy to attach one of my most favorite books ... I have carried it with me all these years ... now, going on 50 years and it cost me 95 cents!
