    Cheers Tom. No need for concern on my part as I live on top of one of Bath's many hills so there would need to be a flood of biblical proportions to worry me.

    I don't ever recall hearing of people in Bath having their homes flooded. I guess the banks of the river must be pretty well shored-up around here. Further afield there has been flooding certainly. I think I heard Glastonbury Tor is an island again (as it was in medieval times?) but that's all I know about local flooding.

    I hope that this is not as bad as it looks. If it is bad, then the tourist industry may be washed away ... worse yet, some of the people in Widcombe may really be suffering. What about other places that the Avon touches?
