Description

The ancient Saxon township of Bingley is to be found in the middle of Yorkshire's Aire Valley, lying in lowland adjacent to the river. The stretch of green field known as Myrtle Park was purchased for the public in 1908, and has been a site for gatherings ever since. It recently played host to the Bingley Festival, an event which is held annually and floods the small town with music enthusiasts from far and wide. This photograph is a three-shot panorama and was taken from the broad northeastern slope of the park, looking out over the masses enjoying a performance from Feeder.
