Comments on Gigapan: Utah Escalante

  2. Ancient forests and sea beds are temporarially frozen in stone before they too turn into sand again. This place is not timeless, different times are in clearly distinct layers with fossils of trees and animals. Even now this place seems to be part of a different world.
