Here is Cathedral Square in Christchurch, New Zealand. A friendly game of chess has attracted the interest of the crowd. It looks like the game won't last much longer.
Christchurch is a travel hub for those bound for McMurdo Sound and the interior of Antarctica. It was a pleasant place to spend a few hours on a sunny afternoon.
