Description

This is inside the Macaw flight building at Zazu's House. This building offers social oppretunities and free flight in a safe enviroment for these gorgouse Macaw birds. These birds through one channel or another have found themselves at their last chance. But I believe they have found opportunity. Here they are loved and well cared for. They get the veterinary care that they need. They are fed fresh fruits and veggies, and a good diet. This is done on donations and love for parrots. The ladies holding the poles are poles that have bowls with fruit in them. Volunteers have the opportunity to feed these birds special treats. The birds get an animal cookie every night before bed. It is so funny to see them all crowd around Logan when she fed them. They do get a bit pushy... the bite of a Macaw is aprox 165# psi.
