Sydney Central Railway Station, as viewed from Belmore Park. This railway station was the scene of a little-known rebellion during WWI, when some 15,000 volunteer soldiers when on a drunken rampage, with about 1000 holed up in the "Battle of Central Station", which saw one solder killed by the police and some 1000 servicemen jailed, court-martialled or discharged: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_riot_of_1916
