Description

This sculpture by artist Mark Di Suvero graces the south entrance of the Dallas Museum of Art. The DMA has anchored the museum district since it relocated from Fair Park in 1984.

Mark Di Suvero (b. 1933) is an abstract expressionist sculptor. This sculpture, which relocated along with the museum, calls to mind the colors and styles of another famous sculpter, Alexander Calder.

After I shot this gigapan, the guard at the entrance wouldn't let my 38-month pregnant wife use the restroom inside!
