Mount Baker looms 70 kilometers southeast of Vancouver and on clear days it’s silhouette is a feature of the horizon at sunrise. It is the second most thermally active crater in the cascades after Mount St Helens. In the foreground the Lions gate Bridge connects the City of Vancouver and the cities of the North Shore.
