    1. this volcanic landscape is part of the 'Parque Natural de los Volcanos' on Lanzarote (Canarian Islands) the volcanos in the right hand background are part of the 'Timanfaya National Park' and were formed between 1730 and 1736. geologically they are still quite hot - and in some parts they are actually too hot to touch... ;-)))
