Description

Fires in this part of Idaho have created a smoky haze almost every day for a month. This day it cleared up enough to take this Gigapan.

Location: The Lucky Peak Dam is located on the Boise River 17 miles northeast of Boise on Highway 21. The dam is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and its power is generated under contract for the Seattle City Light public utility.
