Description

Over 80 boats are gathered around one of the largest concentrations of whale sharks in the world. This happens every summer, when the sharks gather to feed on plankton. With the naked eye I was able to count over 70 sharks, but with binoculars the number would have been much larger. This happens off the coast of Isla Mujeres in the Yucatan Peninsula. Many shaks have scars on the tail or dorsal fin, caused by the propellers of the boats.
How many boats can you find?
