- Description

Between Cline River and Saskatchewan Crossing. The cairn in the photo was placed there as a memorial of the Overlanders who made the first trip by car from Rocky Mountain House to Saskatchewan Crossing in 1940 in 10 days. Today, it takes just 2 hours. Along this stretch of the river is also the oldest Limber Pines in the country, one of which is more than 1200 years old.
