Well..there are some serious stitching errors. And
I didn't set the Focus Lock on infinity, so
the far background is out of focus in some places.
I'm sure it'll work with some
Coolpix's. Depending on the model number.
What do you mean "not a keeper"? Looks
fine to me. I know, not perfect. But if you like,
I'll just press that button saying "Flag
as inappropriate" -- that'll teach ya!
Great image. I wish I was there; I wish I was at
this moment overlooking this bay, with the thought
of a comfortable cabin to look forward to this
evening. I want to try the gigapan device with my
point-and-shoot Nikon Coolpix.
Using PS CS3: 1. Bad stitching 2. Should have
locked focus point, background out of focus in
places 3. Need polarizing fllter (for
P&S?) to clear out haze 4. Castle is out
of focus! Not a keeper. Pity
