This view of Downtown San Antonio is from a vantage point from the north and the view is to the south. Many of San Antonio's major landmarks are visible, from the Pearl Brewery and Alamodome on the left, to Port San Antonio in the distance on the right. This is the only time of year that many of the north facing sides of the downtown buildings get sunlight and the city is particularly beautiful this time of year.
The thick clouds are actually rare but we have had a rainy spell and as such we see big billowy clouds. Highway 281 winds into downtown and the curves are striking.
This shot is 61 by 201 inches at 300 dpi, native resolution.

The cars are not standing still. I carefully removed the cars that were halfway in a frame.

Why are the cars standing still, since the Gigpan takes many frames over a period of time?
