This panorama was taken from the west end of Tortuga Bay, looking east. Zoom lens set at 100mm (35mm equivalent is 160mm). Haze and sea spray limited visibility somewhat. Compare to the version taken with the lens at 300mm.
This is part of an effort to evaluate the use of high-resolution panoramic photography (HRPP) for environmental monitoring in Galapagos. This work was partially funded by Galapagos Conservancy (galapagos.org
) and is part of the GigaPan Education and Research Program.
