Toronto Star photographer Chris So created this GigaPan before Nik Wallenda completed his historic tightrope walk over Niagara Falls on June 15, 2012. This image is comprised of 228 individual images in a 19 wide by 12 high grid taken over a span of 15 minutes and then stitched together. The final high resolution picture is 51932 x 22264 pixels or 1.15 gigapixels. There are stitching "errors" present that are caused by motion or technical changes in the pictures by the time the camera made another pass. The photo sequence was taken from the top of the Skylon Tower, Niagara Falls, Canada
