Remote automated weather station at 4750 ft ASL in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. This weather station is located in the Chigmit Mountains of the Aluetian Range, about 20 miles northwest of Iliamna Volcano. During the first three years of operation, the lowest temperature observed was -33 deg F, the maximum temperature observed was 61 deg F, and the maximum wind gust was 101 mph.
