Lamar Train Bridge Graffiti, Austin, Texas by bkaylor

The Lamar railroad bridge over the Colorado River in Austin parallels the Lamar Boulevard Bridge and the James D. Pfluger Pedestrial Bridge. The train bridge, despite its inherent danger and height above the river, is a popular medium for graffiti artists.

This section of graffiti covers a number of the middle sections on the western side of the bridge and is easily viewed (and photographed) from the pedestrial bridge. In keeping with the "hippie" vibe of Austin it seems to promote meditation and relaxation.
